I stumbled on Javier's Lounge coming from the Music Hall... The Tuesday night vibes were real but more than anything the food was so good... The Mango Carpaccio salad is second to none, the lamb chops were well seasoned in the chefs garlic sauce. I had the fingerlicking potatoes and asparagus as my sides and the drinks let's just say the bartender topped it off just right!!!

I had an amazing experience at Javier’s—from the outstanding customer service to the flavorful food, everything was on point. The lamb chops were perfectly cooked, and my drinks hit the spot. Plus, it’s conveniently located just steps away from major downtown venues like Music Hall, Ford Field, and Comerica Park. I’ll definitely be back!

Dined here for my birthday after my sister suggested we try it out and I was not disappointed! It wasn’t busy at all which was great since we had a toddler with us. The staff were friendly and spoke to us throughout the night. The food was quickly delivered and tasted so so good! The calamari and chicken taquitos are a must! The lamb chops were so tender and juicy, our server Shiva suggested we get it cooked medium and that was great advice. Speaking of our sever, Shiva was informative of the menu and gave very helpful suggestions! The ambiance is just lovely, there were so many places to take cute pics. Perfect for date night or girls night. Totally worth the price and service ! Dining here made my birthday special <3

This place is in a prime spot in downtown Detroit! The staff is so friendly & the food has very unique pairings in the best way! The flavor behind their appetizers, entrees, and drinks is wonderful. It’s so close to Comerica Park & Ford Field so you’ve almost always walked past it either coming to or leaving the games. It has a wonderful atmosphere and I would definitely recommend coming here! I couldn’t ask for a better restaurant to have my 22nd birthday party at with my loved ones !from the moment that Danny reached out to me from my online reservation I just knew I had to see my vision for my birthday dinner to be hosted at the Javier’s! Down to the amazing atmosphere, welcoming staff, and the impeccable food and drinks! My family and I soaked in every moment here! My severs Donny and Jessica omggg! Loving, understanding, attentive, and very patient with mine with past Saturday! I really appreciate everyone I came across. Mars, the bartender cat! The food wasn't what I expected for such a place with an exquisite atmosphere and extremely great service. It was just ok. I had to send my steak back 2x as it was over cooked, as was the salmon. The saving grace for the steak was that zip sauce! Very good. I was also disappointed with the oysters rockefeller. Talk about tiny.....all 6 equaled one bite. If you're looking for place to vibe with a photogenic back drop and cool drinks, this definitely your place. I won't go for dinner again but drinks and music, for sure!

Went for a birthday celebration. Group of 4. Initially went for “Arabian night”. Website did not specify what side of the restaurant would have the event. Other side was more urban guest and music vs the event side. Server was nice. Food was extremely over priced and very underwhelming. No way this salmon was a fresh filet (more frozen quality) Dry & under seasoned. For $45 I expected better quality. 1 crab cake for $28 is wild. 20% gratuity was a bit much but seems more common when dining out. Don’t think I’ll return. Over hyped.

My wife and I had an amazing first experience at Javier's we were greeted right away by Sarah, she was beyond welcoming and so nice! We were blown away by the ambiance it gave us Miami vibes with the music and decor. Our server Elvis was incredible...he gave us wonderful recommendations and checked on us frequently...he was amazing! The drinks were beyond creative and flavorful! The food was seasoned and cooked to perfection! We highly recommend Javiers to anyone in the area. We had a great experience here and will definitely be back.
